Pakistan's registered voters increase by nearly 295,000 after July 2

The number of registered voters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reached 23,492,258, with 85,309 new voters registered after July 2. Sindh has 28,741,092 registered voters, after an increase of 65,345 during the period., Balochistan has 5,800,154 registered voters, with 37,372 new voters added after July 2.

In the federal capital, Islamabad, the number of registered voters reached 1,264,497, with 12,210 new voters registered during the period. Among major cities and districts, Lahore has the highest number of registered voters at 7,412,267.

The ECP figures show that Faisalabad has 5,583,461 registered voters, followed by Rawalpindi with 3,495,001, Multan with 3,277,884 and Gujranwala with 2,962,772. Sialkot has 2,960,283 registered voters. In Karachi, Central district has 2,277,495 registered voters, East has 1,806,179, Korangi has 1,630,590, South has 1,313,906 and West has 1,025,410.

Hyderabad has 1,287,640 registered voters, while Khairpur has 1,450,378, Naushehro Feroze 997,162 and Badin 996,858. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar has the highest number of registered voters at 2,245,452. Mardan has 1,643,274, Mansehra 1,182,277, Charsadda 1,138,099 and Swat 912,653 registered voters.

In Balochistan, Quetta has the highest number of registered voters at 948,657. Pishin has 347,091, Khuzdar 320,871, Kech 287,518, Nasirabad 257,501, Chaman 207,882, Hub 152,866, Dera Bugti 152,555, Jaffarabad 150,352 and Gwadar 149,337 registered voters.

Meanwhile, the number of registered female voters in the country has reached 63,927,116., the gap between male and female voters stands at 9,014,985. Lahore also leads in terms of registered female voters, with 3,549,226 women registered on the electoral rolls.
