During an episode of Bigg Boss Season 20, Khan discussed the scrutiny actors face over their physical appearance. He referred to criticism directed at women who gain weight during pregnancy, without naming Kaif directly.
Khan questioned why women are subjected to online trolling after pregnancy, saying that gaining weight during pregnancy is normal and that actresses can return to fitness when they are ready to resume their film careers. He also said women may choose to spend time with their families after giving birth rather than immediately returning to work.
Kaif and actor Vicky Kaushal welcomed their son, Vihaan, in November 2025. The actress recently attended the Ambani family's Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Mumbai with Kaushal. Videos and photographs from the event circulated on social media, prompting comments from some users about her appearance.
