    Speaking on Dunya News programme ‘Dunya Meher Bokhari Kay Sath’, Rana Sanaullah said that behind-the-scenes contacts were continuing, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi had two main objectives: securing the release of PTI founder Imran Khan and bringing down the government.

    Rana Sanaullah said the KP chief minister had repeatedly stated in his speeches that he would not return without securing the release of the PTI founder. He noted that petitions seeking Imran Khan’s release are currently pending before the Supreme Court and the High Court.’s adviser, Sohail Afridi is also talking about holding a march towards Islamabad.

    He reiterated that peaceful protest is a constitutional and democratic right, but the government would not permit violence. Commenting on discussions concerning the provinces, Rana Sanaullah said the government would present its position when the matter comes before Parliament.
