Iraqi authorities said the Al-Shib border crossing, located along the Iranian border, would reopen to passengers on Sunday. Passenger movement will also resume at the Shalamcheh border crossing in Basra province, officials said. Authorities further announced that commercial activities at the Shalamcheh crossing are expected to resume by the end of the current week.
