Pilot creates Mona Lisa in the sky during three-hour flight

The pilot took off from Bentonville, Arkansas, and flew a carefully planned route near the Arkansas-Oklahoma border aboard a Cessna R182 aircraft. By precisely navigating a series of turns, the pilot transformed the aircraft’s flight-tracking trail into an image resembling the famous portrait.
The route was designed in advance, with the aircraft making numerous carefully calculated changes in direction to reproduce the facial features, hair and overall outline of the Mona Lisa., the aerial artwork covered a total route of around 35 miles and took approximately three hours to complete.
The pilot followed a pre-planned GPS route throughout the flight, as even a minor deviation could have altered the final shape of the portrait. The unusual flight attracted significant attention on flight-tracking websites, with more than 73,000 people reportedly following the aircraft’s route in real time.
