'Off Campus' season 2: Cast, story and everything we know so far

Season 2 will shift its main romantic focus to Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes, played by Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla. Their relationship began to take shape during the first season, and their story will become the primary romance when the series returns.

Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright will also return as Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells. While their romance will no longer drive the season, creator Louisa Levy has confirmed that the couple will remain an important part of the ensemble.

Antonio Cipriano will return as John Logan, while Jalen Thomas Brooks is back as John Tucker. The new season will also introduce India Fowler as Grace Ivers, Logan’s eventual love interest from Kennedy’s books. Fowler’s casting has already sparked interest among fans, particularly because Logan and Grace’s relationship is central to The Mistake, the second book in the original series.

Cipriano has teased that viewers will see the beginnings of Logan and Grace’s relationship during Season 2, even though Dean and Allie remain the main couple. The actor has also mentioned a memorable water tower scene from the books that he hopes makes it into the adaptation.

Shay Rudolph has also joined the cast as Summer Di Laurentis, Dean’s sister. Her arrival could help expand the television series into Kennedy’s wider Briar University universe, which includes the Briar U spin-off books.

Plot details remain largely under wraps, but the season is expected to build on Dean and Allie’s relationship while continuing the stories of the Briar hockey players.

The decision to make Dean and Allie the central couple means the show is moving from the first book, The Deal, to the third book, The Score, rather than following the novels in their original order. Filming is already underway.

Cameli revealed in June that production had progressed through the first two episodes, with the second season consisting of eight episodes. A release date has not yet been announced by Prime Video. Season 2 is also expected to continue the show's emphasis on music, although Levy has indicated there will be fewer live musical performances than in the first season.

The series will instead continue using songs and its original score to shape key moments. With Dean and Allie taking centre stage, Logan and Grace beginning their story and Garrett and Hannah remaining part of the ensemble, Off Campus Season 2 is set to expand the Briar University world while introducing another chapter of Kennedy’s hockey romance universe.
