LLAHORE —Lahore High Court Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh has resigned from his judicial position. Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh tendered his resignation under Article 206 of the Constitution, with a copy of the resignation obtained by Dunya News.
In his resignation, Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh said he had decided to work in the fields of legal scholarship, policy research and comparative judicial affairs. He said serving in the judicial office had been an honor and a matter of pride for him.
Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh also expressed his commitment to the supremacy of the Constitution and the law in his resignation and thanked his senior fellow judges and staff.
