KKARACHI —Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered strict action against travelers attempting to travel abroad on the basis of fake documents, stressing that passengers with incomplete or unverified documents must not be allowed to travel under any circumstances. Mohsin Naqvi visited Jinnah International Airport and reviewed the immigration process at the counters during his visit.
The interior minister also met passengers traveling abroad and asked them about their experience with the immigration process. During the visit, the immigration system went down. Naqvi immediately contacted the relevant authorities by telephone and directed them to resolve the system issue without delay.
He further instructed officials to ensure that an alternative arrangement is available in case the immigration system goes down. "The immigration process must not stop under any circumstances," the interior minister said, emphasizing the need for uninterrupted processing of passengers.
"Stay connected with Aman-e-Pakistan for ongoing live reporting and verified investigative updates."
Naqvi also reiterated that passengers carrying incomplete or unverified documents should not be permitted to travel.
