    In his most recent appearance for Oklahoma City, Diaz struggled through two-thirds of an inning on Sunday, allowing five runs and three walks in a performance ⁠that Dodgers manager Dave Roberts admitted wasn't going to be enough to merit a promotion. The Dodgers have left open the possibility for Henriquez to return in the postseason.

    Henriquez, 24, has appeared in 61 games (one start) this season, posting a 2.85 ERA with 71 strikeouts against 25 walks in 60 innings. Diaz, a three-time All-Star, has struggled this season in limited action, logging seven saves in 11 opportunities and an 11.85 ERA in 16 appearances.

    Los Angeles recalled right-handed pitchers Paul Gervase and Bobby ⁠Miller from Triple-A to help shore up their shaky bullpen. Emmet Sheehan was sent to Oklahoma City after throwing six shutout innings in a start against the Miami Marlins on Sunday.

    Gervase, 26, has a 2.35 ERA over four major league appearances this season. He ⁠owns a lifetime 3.38 ERA with no decisions in 10 outings, all in relief, for the Tampa Bay Rays (2025) and Los Angeles (2025-26).

    Miller, 27, has made one big-league appearance in 2026, ⁠earning a win over the Washington Nationals on Sept. 6 with three innings of one-run relief. He is 14-8 with a 5.40 ERA in 38 ⁠outings (36 starts) for the Dodgers over parts of four seasons.

    Sheehan, 26, is 5-8 with a 4.79 ERA in 22 starts this year, 15-12 with a 4.23 ERA in 50 career appearances (45 starts), all with Los Angeles.
