    IISLAMABAD —Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stressed the need to curb the rising terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying efforts must be made to ensure the province can progress alongside other parts of the country. The prime minister made the remarks during a meeting with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam.

    The meeting covered matters concerning Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. During the meeting, Amir Muqam briefed the prime minister on developments and ongoing matters in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
