    Veteran actor Asma Abbas appearedin an interviewalongside her husband Ghulam Abbas, stating that self-sufficient women who had already raised their children shouldn't feel pressured to remarry later in life.

    She also offered a distinctive view on remarriage for women past the age of 60, emphasising that financial independence was crucial and that staying single past a certain age often allowed women the ability to avoid unnecessary household friction and enjoy a peaceful, independent life.

    The actor, who married Ghulam Abbas 35 years ago, revealed that maintaining separate routines and personal space, including separate rooms, had strengthened the couple's mutual regard.
