PIA to operate daily flights to London from Oct 27

PIA is currently operating four weekly flights to London. The increase in flight frequency reflects growing passenger demand and confidence in the national airline, the spokesperson said. The expansion is expected to provide passengers with more travel options between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, the spokesperson added.
Meanwhile, PIA has issued an international tender to hire a freight handling, clearing and forwarding agent for its operations in France under a three-year contract. the PIA administration, the airline requires an agent at its Paris station to handle, clear and forward its air and sea consignments.
The documents state that clearing agent services in Paris will be required for a period of three years. PIA has invited interested companies to submit their tender applications to its Supply Chain Department.

The deadline for submission of bids has been set for September 30., appointing a new agent will help improve and streamline cargo operations on the Paris route, making them more efficient.
