'The Pitt' cast and crew celebrate Emmys sweep on set

Wyle won his second Emmy for the series during Monday’s ceremony. In his acceptance speech, he thanked the cast and crew for their work and said they would be returning to the set the following day to continue working on the show.

“I grew up in L.A. I’m a Hollywood kid,” Wyle said during his speech. “I was raised on a television and movie theaters were my place of worship.

This is all I’ve ever wanted to do and this is the only club I’ve ever wanted to join. Thank you for accepting me.”The Pitt follows emergency medicine doctors at different stages of their careers as they navigate the intense environment of an urban emergency room, while their personal lives occasionally spill into their work.

The series is set to return for its third season on HBO Max in January 2027.
