Saudi Civil Defense issues danger alert for six regions

The alert warned citizens and residents of a potential emergency and urged them to follow official safety instructions. Civil Defense advised people to remain calm and immediately move to the nearest safe location inside a building, preferably an interior room away from windows.

People who are outdoors should enter the nearest building or seek shelter behind a solid barrier. Civil Defense also urged the public not to gather, take photographs or approach hazardous locations after receiving the warning.

Drivers who receive the alert while travelling were advised to pull over safely, away from bridges and tall buildings. Emergency numbers. Authorities said residents should call 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province in case of danger.
