    In a statement, he welcomed the improvement in Pakistan’s sovereign credit rating by Moody’s. He appreciated efforts of the government’s economic team. He commended Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Army Chief and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and all the concerned ministers and officials.

    “The improvement in Pakistan’s credit rating is a reflection of global confidence in the government’s economic policies and reforms,” he said adding, “The recognition of the improvement in Pakistan’s economic situation by international financial institutions and rating agencies is welcome.
