Under the new rates, the price of LPG has increased by Rs4.33 per kilogram. The revision will take effect for the month of September., the increase has pushed the price of an 11.8kg LPG cylinder up by Rs51.17.
Following the latest adjustment, the official price of the standard cylinder has been set at Rs3,052 for September. The new LPG price represents an increase from the rate applicable during August. The 11.8kg cylinder was previously priced at Rs3,000, meaning consumers will pay Rs52 more when comparing the rounded previous and new prices.
OGRA's latest notification sets the revised rate specifically for September 2026, with the per-kilogram price increasing by Rs4.33. The adjustment will apply throughout the month under the regulator's notified pricing mechanism. The change comes as households and businesses using LPG prepare for the new monthly rates.
