IISLAMABAD —The Federal Constitutional Court has fixed for hearing an appeal against an Islamabad High Court decision concerning the provision of medical facilities to other prisoners on the same basis as PTI founder Imran Khan. A three-member bench headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan will hear the appeal on September 14.
Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Ali Baqar Najafi are also members of the bench. Three Adiala inmates seek Imran Khan-like medical facilities from constitutional court. The case concerning the provision of medical facilities to Imran Khan has separately been fixed for hearing before the Supreme Court on September 16.
The development comes a day after three prisoners at Adiala Jail approached the Federal Constitutional Court seeking medical facilities similar to those being provided to Imran Khan. The prisoners challenged the Islamabad High Court decision related to the facilities available to the PTI founder.
