    The test will be conducted in Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur and Islamabad. In Karachi, examination centres have been established at NED University of Engineering and Technology and Dow University of Health Sciences’ Ojha Campus.

    Candidates in Hyderabad will sit the examination at Public School in Unit No 3, Latifabad, while the centre in Jamshoro will be at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences. In Mirpurkhas, the test will be held at Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur Public School.

    The Larkana centre will be at the Police Training School Ground on Wagon Road. Candidates in Shaheed Benazirabad will take the test at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, while the Sukkur centre will be at IBA Public School on Old Airport Road.

    The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC)announcedlast month that the MDCAT had been postponed by more than a month, from August 16 to September 20, on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. In a statement issued on August 6, the council said the decision had been taken on the prime minister’s directions.

    It added that all other terms, conditions and examination arrangements would remain unchanged unless notified otherwise.&DC, the postponement was intended to ensure the “smooth, secure and transparent conduct” of the examination while also “facilitating all candidates”.
