PPP leaders, MPs brief Bilawal Bhutto on multiple issues

PPP Chief Whip Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani and Faryal Talpur met Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at the National Assembly, where matters concerning the House were discussed. Sindh Assembly Speaker Syed Owais Shah also called on the PPP chairman and discussed matters related to the Sindh Assembly and legislation.
Special Assistant to the Sindh Chief Minister Junaid Buland briefed Bilawal on proposed legislation concerning the regularization of private institutes, departmental digitalization and the operation of 63 institutes under the public-private partnership model.
MNA Musarrat Rafique Mahesar discussed issues concerning women and measures for their resolution, while MNA Sadiq Memon briefed Bilawal on public problems in Thatta and steps being taken to address them. Sindh Assembly member Fayyaz Butt also briefed the PPP chairman on issues faced by residents of Dadu and measures aimed at resolving them.

MPA Zubair Junejo, accompanied by Attaullah Junejo, discussed public concerns in Khairpur Nathan Shah and ongoing efforts to address them. Sukkur Mayor Barrister Arsalan Sheikh briefed Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on ongoing development projects in Sukkur.
He highlighted the digitalization initiative aimed at making the Sukkur Municipal Corporation paperless, as well as projects to provide clean drinking water to more than 100,000 households. The mayor also briefed the PPP chairman on a public-private partnership project for clean water and a wastewater treatment initiative in Sukkur.
Under the current target, more than 50 percent of wastewater is to be treated before being discharged into the Indus River, while the next phase envisages treatment of 100 percent of the city's wastewater.
Bilawal was further briefed on projects proposed for Sukkur at the Asian Development Bank's Climate Adaptation Investment Planning Forum in Manila, where climate adaptation projects for Sukkur and Sindh were presented. The meeting also covered urban development projects planned for Sukkur and other parts of Sindh.
