NNASEERABAD —The wife and three children of a policeman died after an air-conditioning compressor exploded at their home in Dera Murad Jamali, authorities said. Police officer Shahid Abro, his wife and four children were injured in the accident and were transferred to a hospital in Sukkur for treatment in critical condition.
Abro's wife, two sons and a daughter died while receiving medical treatment, local authorities. Abro, who was also seriously injured in the explosion, remains under treatment at a hospital. The cause of the compressor explosion was not immediately clear.
