    Speaking on Dunya News programme Dunya Mehr Bukhari Kay Sath, Rana Sanaullah said all institutions and provincial governments should unconditionally support the federal government’s decisions in the fight against terrorism. He said PTI should also stand unconditionally with Pakistan and the federal government in the war against terrorism.

    He said the government had never with its founder Imran Khan would not be allowed., PTI had been asked to fulfill its responsibilities and support the government and Pakistan, while assurances had also been given regarding Imran Khan’s meeting, medical treatment and access to his personal doctor.

    The adviser said one reason for the failure of talks to progress was PTI’s disagreement with the government’s policy against terrorism and its opposition to its implementation. Rana Sanaullah said the prime minister’s offer for negotiations was still available and talks could be held if PTI called off its long march.

    He claimed that PTI would eventually become exhausted even if the long march continued for a month, adding that its current numbers were insufficient to march on Islamabad. He said if PTI wanted to resign, it had already done so in the past, while it had also tried dissolving two provincial assemblies and could repeat the experiment.

    He further said Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman was standing with the government and Pakistan’s armed forces in the fight against terrorism and that the government remained in contact with him.
