Sargodha Region ASI Arshad and two officials were also shifted to the hospital due to ill health., ASI Muhammad Arshad, son of Muhammad Shafi, fell ill during the race while training at the Bedian Road Elite Training Centre. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he died.
His body was taken to the morgue. Two ASIs died during a race in the same day. Both ASIs died while running a four-kilometre race in the hot weather.
