Meera hits back at critics over 'Psycho' box-office performance

In one of her posts, the actor said she was being labelled a “flop” because Psycho did not achieve a business of Rs1 billion at the box office.
She said she considered herself courageous for continuing to move forward despite facing the attitudes of people who distanced themselves from her following the film.
In another message, Meera wrote, “A film can flop, but a woman cannot.”Through her posts, the actor also questioned the tendency within the entertainment industry to treat high box-office earnings as the ultimate measure of success. Meera has previously revealed that she experienced depression while shooting for Psycho.
