A footage of the robbery went viral in which it could be seen that five robbers entered the shops while a robber stood guard outside the outlets. The video also featured a scuffle between the shopkeepers and the robbers, who resorted to firing to intimidate the traders.
It could also be seen in the clip that the robbers put looted cash and jewellery into bags before escaping. Having being informed, police scrambled to the crime scene and started investigation., the gang of dacoits did the robbery in an organised manner.
The law-enforcers said they were seeking assistance from the video clips and footages to reach out to the fleeing outlaws.
