They warned that such measures could seriously undermine prospects for stability in the region. The ministers stressed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and underscored the need to preserve the unity of Palestinian territory comprising Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

They reaffirmed that the only path towards a just and lasting peace is the implementation of the two-state solution, with the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant resolutions of international legitimacy.

The foreign ministers also called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to fulfil its responsibilities and firmly confront any attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

They stressed the need to ensure respect for the rules of international law and reaffirmed their continued full support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land. The ministers also rejected all attempts aimed at erasing the Palestinian cause or undermining the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
