During the meeting, discussions focused on regional developments, including the evolving security situation and matters of relevance to Pakistan.
Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of closely monitoring regional developments, particularly those with implications for peace and security. Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister also had a telephonic conversation with the newly-elected OIC Secretary General and congratulated him on his election as OIC Secretary General.
The two leaders agreed to meet soon and maintain regular communication, and to work together to further strengthen the role of the OIC.
