BLACKPINK’s JISOO takes on four cinematic roles in new self-portrait short film series

The singer and actress stars in four films for the latest instalment of Self-Portrait’s ongoing creative project, transforming into four distinct characters across the series. The campaign marks another chapter in JISOO’s long-running relationship with the fashion house, for which she serves as a global ambassador.
Each short film places JISOO in a different cinematic setting, allowing the BLACKPINK star to explore a range of characters and visual identities while showcasing pieces from Self-Portrait’s latest collection. The conceptual campaign blurs the line between fashion and film, with JISOO taking centre stage in each of the four videos.
Rather than presenting a traditional fashion campaign, the project uses storytelling and character-driven performances to bring the collection to life. JISOO has increasingly expanded her work beyond music in recent years, balancing her career as a member of BLACKPINK with solo projects, acting and fashion collaborations.

The new Self-Portrait series gives her another opportunity to showcase her screen presence through a collection of cinematic performances. The collaboration also continues JISOO’s close association with Self-Portrait, which has previously featured the K-pop star in several of its campaigns.
While BLACKPINK remains one of the biggest names in global pop music, the four-part project highlights JISOO’s growing presence across fashion and visual storytelling, with each film presenting a different side of the star through its own distinct character and cinematic concept. The new Self-Portrait short film series starring JISOO is now part of the brand’s latest campaign.
