The government has been determining petroleum prices on a daily basis under the mechanism adopted by the Ministry of Petroleum for adjusting prices of petroleum products.

    The latest reduction comes as the government continues to review fuel prices in line with changes in international oil prices and other relevant factors under the existing pricing mechanism. The Petroleum Division formally issued the notification announcing the revised rates.
