    Zeynivand said Tehran expected the other party to honour its commitments under the agreement, stressing that the accord had been approved by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and endorsed by the Supreme Leader. He described the agreement as an official decision of the Iranian establishment and said active diplomatic efforts were continuing to address the situation.

    The spokesman said Iran’s diplomatic engagement included the president’s participation in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and BRICS meetings in India and Kyrgyzstan, along with broader consultations. Addressing economic concerns, Zeynivand said rising prices remained a major concern for the Iranian public following decades of Western sanctions.

    He said government authorities were working to address inflation and other economic difficulties. He also said the reconstruction of civilian infrastructure damaged during the war had become the government’s top priority., repairing residential buildings and public service facilities, including police stations, would take precedence over non-essential government projects that could be postponed.
