    IISLAMABAD The government has introduced a new digital system for the submission of asset declarations by civil servants, with Grade-17 and above officers required to file their statements online through a portal developed with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)., the FBR portal has been activated for government officers to submit their asset declarations electronically instead of manually.

    The Presidency, Prime Minister’s Office and all ministries have been informed about the new digital system. Government officers have been directed to submit their asset declarations online by October 30, while a deadline of November 30 has been set for correcting errors in the submitted statements.

    The notification said officers will be required to create an account on the FBR portal to submit their declarations. They will have to provide their personal email addresses for account registration. The FBR will examine the asset declarations of government officers on a risk-based basis.
