The dates have been tentatively agreed upon, with an official announcement expected after the franchises are taken into confidence., the league’s broadcaster had pushed for a January start, arguing that an earlier window would help secure sponsorships. Franchise owners, however, preferred an April window.
The PCB has now decided to tentatively hold PSL 12 from March 19 to May 2, with the final dates to be confirmed after consultations with the franchises. Ramadan is expected to begin on February 8 next year, meaning the league will be staged after eid.
