The ticket-price movements come amid continued fallout from Macklemore's departure from the tour. Macklemore said he was removed after speaking about the situation in Gaza and expressing support for Palestinians during concerts at Met. Life Stadium.

Robert Kraft, who owns Gillette Stadium, confirmed that Macklemore was blocked from performing at the venue, saying it does not "provide a platform for hate speech". Sheeran subsequently said the decision was made by his tour promoter following threats from stadium venues.
