IISLAMABAD —An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has granted bail to Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha in a case involving road blockades and a scuffle with police. ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the case, during which police submitted the case record before the court.
During the hearing, state counsel Ali Azad informed the court that the record had been received that day. In response, Judge Zulqarnain remarked that he would have shown them what would happen if the record had not been produced even that day.
The judge then asked the accused persons' lawyers whether they had anything to say. He subsequently remarked, "All right, leave it," and announced the approval of their bail. The court granted bail to both Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha against surety bonds of Rs5,000 each.
