Pakistan, after being sent in to bat, posted 130 for five in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Fatima Sana led the scoring with a determined 47 off 36 balls, striking four fours and two sixes to give her side a competitive total.
Shawal Zulfiqar contributed 24 runs while Gul Feroza scored 21, before Tuba Hassan remained unbeaten on 12 as Pakistan finished their innings at 130 for five. Sri Lanka made a steady start to their chase but lost wickets at regular intervals as Pakistan kept themselves in contention.
Harshitha Samarawickrama top-scored with 36, while Kavisha Dilhari added 33 to provide the foundation for the pursuit. Nilakshika Silva then scored 18, with Kaushini Nuthyangana contributing a brisk 10 as Sri Lanka moved closer to the target.

Sri Lanka eventually reached 134 for six in 18.4 overs to complete the chase and book their place in the final. Fatima Sana was Pakistan’s standout bowler, claiming four wickets for 38 runs in 3.4 overs and keeping her team within touching distance of victory.
Sadia Yaqoob and Omaima Sohail also took one wicket each, but Pakistan could not prevent Sri Lanka from reaching the target with eight balls to spare. Sri Lanka’s four-wicket victory sends them into the Women’s Asia Cup final, where they will face India for the title.
