Authorities said Thomas was detained after exiting the vehicle during the investigation and allegedly failing to comply with deputies' instructions. “The driver was being detained for DUI investigation. Sometime during the investigation, Mr. Taylor decided he would exit the vehicle.

Jail records show Thomas was detained at Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station at 12:32am and booked at 1:50am on September 21. He was released more than 34 hours later. The district attorney's office has not filed charges against the actor.
