    They apprised the court that Qureshi has been booked under sections 324, 354 and 504 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) in addition to section 6/7 of Anti Terrorism Act, 1997, on the complaint of Muhammad Waqas Kazi whose brother was critically injured., an argument between women of his family and DSP Qureshi started on Wednesday morning when the latter threw off their nephew's motorbike, which was parked outside their house, on the road.

    The situation escalated in a fight during which the DSP alleged that the injured assaulted him first and that he opened fire in his self defence. Irshad Fakhruddin Kazi, whose condition is said to be critical, Afaq lshaq Rajput and Kamran Babu Hashmi sustained gunshot injuries in the incident.

    Kazi was hit in his chest, the passerby Rajpur in his leg and neighbour Hashmi in his back.
