An ITP official motorcyclists should reduce speed during rain and maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead to avoid accidents. The official advised drivers to use fog lights during rain, remain in their lanes and properly use side mirrors, indicators and seat belts while driving.
Motorcyclists were advised to travel in the extreme left lane, keep their speed low and wear helmets for their safety. The official said ITP personnel were present on roads to facilitate motorists, manage traffic flow and guide citizens during the rainy weather.
