Across Sindh, 16,507 candidates qualified for MBBS and BDS, while 19,323 candidates were declared eligible for BDS.On the other hand, 9,505 candidates from Karachi Division participated in MDCAT, out of which 5,492 candidates were able to qualify for MBBS and BDS. The success rate in Karachi Division was 57.78%.
Similarly, in different districts of the city, 2,927 candidates from Karachi East and 2,141 from Karachi Central participated in the examination, with the highest number of 1,815 candidates from Karachi East being declared successful.
Furthermore, the data further revealed that 42.04 percent of candidates who took the MDCAT in Sindh failed to meet the required standards, while the number of female candidates in the results was significantly higher than that of male candidates.
