During the visit, he received a comprehensive briefing on the prevailing security environment and operational preparedness in Balochistan. The briefing also covered ongoing measures to maintain peace and stability across the province, along with matters concerning institutional coordination and support for socio-economic development.
Security review. Field Marshal Munir reviewed the security situation and the readiness of formations operating in Balochistan. He appreciated the professionalism, operational preparedness and commitment demonstrated by officers and troops serving in the province.
The army chief stressed the importance of continued coordination among law enforcement agencies and other state institutions to consolidate peace and strengthen stability., he said such coordination was essential to maintaining an environment conducive to sustained economic activity and development in Balochistan. Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed that the peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Balochistan remain central to the state’s efforts. The army chief also paid tribute to the sacrifices of martyrs and praised the steadfast dedication of officers and troops in carrying out their duties. Upon his arrival in Quetta, Field Marshal Munir was received by the Commander Quetta Corps.
