LLAHORE —The nikah ceremony of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s daughter, Mahnoor Safdar, was held at Jati Umra in Lahore. The ceremony was limited to private family guests. PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz, along with other members of the Sharif family and close relatives, attended the nikah ceremony.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb also attended the ceremony., Mahnoor Safdar’s husband, Azaan Jabbar, belongs to a prominent business family. His father, Jabbar Khalid, is a well-known industrialist, while his family is associated with the flour milling industry.
Meanwhile, videos from Mahnoor Safdar’s nikah ceremony are going viral on social media. In one video, Mahnoor can be seen dressed as a bride, while another shows Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif driving Nawaz Sharif and other family members to the ceremony.

Mahnoor Safdar recently returned to Pakistan after completing her higher education and graduation from SOAS University of London. Maryam Nawaz had also travelled to London to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony. During her daughter’s graduation in London, Maryam Nawaz expressed her happiness and said that, by the grace of Allah, all three of her children had completed their higher education.
