BBISHKEK —A formal welcome ceremony was held in honour of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Presidential Palace in Kyrgyzstan. Upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received a warm welcome on the red carpet from Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.
The national anthems of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan were played as the prime minister arrived at the Presidential Palace. Prime Minister Shehbaz was subsequently presented with a guard of honour. The two leaders inspected the guard of honour, while a smartly turned-out contingent of the Kyrgyz armed forces presented a salute to the prime minister.
On the occasion, President Japarov introduced the members of his delegation to Prime Minister Shehbaz, while the prime minister also introduced the members of the Pakistani delegation to the Kyrgyz president.
