    KKARACHI The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s benchmark KSE-100 Index opened higher on Thursday, recovering some of the ground lost during the previous session. The index was trading at 168,452.66 points, up 430.86 points or 0.26 percent from the previous close of 168,021.80.

    During the session so far, the KSE-100 has touched a high of 169,151.18 points and a low of 168,222.91 points. Trading volume stood at 17,429,712 shares. The latest movement follows a sharp decline in the previous session.

    On September 16, the KSE-100 Index dropped 1,370.52 points, or 0.81 percent, to settle at 168,021.80 points.
