    The spokesperson said the vice chancellor, with the approval of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari, had immediately suspended Agha Adnan Ahmed and removed him from his position. During the suspension, all his official responsibilities, assignments and positions have been withdrawn.

    He has also been barred from entering the university premises and accessing official records, his official email account and university system accounts. The spokesperson said Agha Adnan Ahmed had been directed to hand over all government property, files, keys and official documents to the Registrar's Office within 24 hours.

    His salary and other admissible allowances have also been withheld pending completion of the ongoing investigation and inquiry. Agha Adnan Ahmed is also facing allegations of simultaneously holding two government jobs.
