RRAWALPINDI —Security forces foiled an attempt by terrorists to damage government installations in Mashkel through a timely and effective operation, forcing the attackers to flee. Mashkel, armed individuals attempted to target police facilities, a Customs warehouse and other government installations in the area.
In view of the seriousness of the situation, Frontier Corps Balochistan launched an immediate and effective response against the attackers. The Assistant Commissioner said the armed individuals were unable to continue their resistance following the timely response by security forces and fled the area.
During the operation, weapons, vehicles and motorcycles belonging to the terrorists were seized., the armed individuals also left their vehicles and a large quantity of ammunition at the scene while fleeing after the security forces’ effective action.
