'Mango Jutt' trailer teases Hareem Farooq's big-screen comeback with Faysal Quraishi

The two share the screen for much of the trailer, with their dynamic forming the emotional core amid the film’s stunts and dance sequences. View this post on Instagram. Alongside Quraishi and Farooq, the lead cast includes Shamoon Abbasi as the antagonist.
The film was written by Abu Aleeha and produced by Farooq herself. Quraishi plays a righteous police officer who is nicknamed “Mango Jutt” by Farooq’s character, who tells him that he is both sweet and pretty.
The film combines stunt-heavy action with comedic and romantic beats, embracing the larger-than-life sensibilities associated with the genre. Mango Juttmarks Farooq’s first big-screen appearance in five years, following 2019’s. Heer Maan Ja, as well as her first Punjabi-language film.

The project faced delays during development and post-production after filming wrapped. Its teaser surfaced in mid-2026, followed by Wednesday’s trailer, but a release date has yet to be announced.
