The test, held at 20 examination centres across various departments from 11am, covered admissions to 1,402 seats, including the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) morning and evening programmes. KU Director of Admissions Prof Dr Saima Akhtar said 7,265 candidates had submitted admission forms for the available seats.

Of these, 270 remained absent, while 23 applications were cancelled because the candidates had either failed their intermediate examinations or submitted incomplete forms. She said 303 candidates had applied for both Pharm-D and bachelor's programmes.

They were issued admit cards only for the Pharm-D test, but their results would also be considered for admission to the bachelor's programmes for which they had applied. Akhtar said the results would be uploaded to the university's website and candidates' online portals.
