    The operations targeted Indian-sponsored proxies, Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij-linked militants in different parts of Balochistan. The latest actions form part of continuing intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations across the province. The ISPR said six Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed during an operation in Mastung on September 4.

    Security forces also recovered a cache of ammunition and improvised explosive devices from the militants, which were destroyed at the site. In another intelligence-based operation in the Shaban area of Quetta district, security forces targeted four hideouts associated with Fitna al-Khawarij.

    The operation resulted in the deaths of 26 militants, 's media wing. The coordinated actions extended to Kalat, where security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against a terrorist hideout. Two Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed during the raid, the ISPR said.

    In Sibi district's Bagh area, security forces carried out a strong retaliatory operation and killed a further two Indian-sponsored terrorists. The action followed intelligence regarding the presence and activities of militants in the area.

    The ISPR said that, over the preceding 48 to 72 hours, a total of 48 terrorists belonging to Indian-sponsored proxies, Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij had been killed across Balochistan.

    The latest figure adds to the number of militants killed in counter-terrorism operations across the province during 2026., more than 1,188 terrorists have been killed in operations in Balochistan so far this year. The military said security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue counter-terrorism operations under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision until the elimination of the last terrorist.
