Salman Khan is currently hosting the 20th season of the reality show, which has entered its third week. However, some of the promotional videos released before the season began sparked comments on social media about the actor’s physical appearance, age and health.
During this week’s episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman responded to those trolling him over his age. He also took off his shirt to showcase his fitness and spoke in defence of female actors. Salman’s response received support from contestants inside the Bigg Boss house and generated considerable discussion on social media in both India and Pakistan.
Humayun Saeed, who has himself faced criticism over his age, appeared to appreciate Salman’s response. The Pakistani actor shared a reel featuring Salman’s viral video on his Instagram account. In the caption accompanying the post, Humayun praised Salman for showing his six-pack abs at the age of 60 and hitting back at trolls and paparazzi.
