QQUETTA —Security forces have killed seven terrorists in separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, five militants linked to “Fitna al-Hindustan” were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Bara.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants, while their hideouts were destroyed during the operation, the sources said. In Balochistan’s Chagai district, security forces conducted an operation in the Naukcha area under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 and killed two militants,.
The militants had allegedly set fire to an empty water bowser in Naukcha and attempted to escape. Security forces responded immediately and killed the two militants, the sources said.

The sources added that the militants were allegedly involved in arson incidents at several points along the N-40 highway., 11 militants involved in similar alleged acts of sabotage were killed on August 31. Security forces said they would continue operations against militants as part of efforts to eliminate terrorism and establish lasting peace in the country.
