Located in the Lal Darwaza area, Lucky Restaurant, also known as New Lucky Restaurant, has tables arranged around graves that are separated by small metal railings. The restaurant management reportedly cleans the graves daily and decorates them with flowers as a mark of respect for the deceased.
The establishment dates back to the 1950s, when a small tea stall was set up near a cemetery. As the business expanded and a restaurant was eventually built, the graves were left in their original location instead of being relocated, with tables arranged around them.
Despite its unusual setting, the restaurant has operated for decades without an official website or social media presence, relying largely on word-of-mouth publicity and its local reputation. The restaurant serves a variety of food, but tea and bun maska remain among its most popular items.
